Architecture
Architecture of IDPT system
An IDPT system consists of 4 distinct entities. To easily understand the IDPT system architecture, we can associate it with a Learning Management System (LMS).
Case: The case refers to primary illness, or morbidity intervention is being built, for example, intervention for depression, intervention for public speaking, intervention for eating disorder etc. In an LMS scenario, a case is like "Course".
Modules: A case contains one or more modules. Each module is assumed to focus on one dimension of the case. For example, in the INTROMAT project, the depression case has seven modules (introduction, ..., summary). In an LMS scenario, a module is like chapters.
Tasks: In an LMS scenario, a task is like different lessons. It can be the following types:
Informative tasks (reading, listening, speaking, watching videos etc.)
Interactive tasks (computerized exercises, physical activities)
Taxonomy: A taxonomy adds a label to each of the above components (case, modules, tasks). The idea behind taxonomy is to label these components to be used later to recognize by AI-based algorithms or to provide ontological benefits.
